I got back Saturday night from the Teach Them Diligently Convention in Spartanburg, SC. It was a very tiring but AMAZING 3 days. I was working the A+ TutorSoft booth so I wasn't really able to attend the workshops or visit with all the vendors. But I did meet several of my amazing blogger friends as well as some fabulous homeschool moms from all over the country.
I got to share with moms how awesome the A+ TutorSoft math curriculum is. As well as pass on my personal homeschooling tips and tricks. I also had a chance to share about some of our other favorite homeschool companies like Creating A Masterpiece.
During my short breaks I did have the opportunity to stop at some of the vendors to talk with them about their amazing products. There are so many wonderful vendors and speakers at Teach Them Diligently. I did get a couple of goodies as well....stayed tuned for some reviews. A sweet Twitter friend that I finally got to meet IRL (In Real Life) gave me the beautiful blue and green mosaic candle holder.

And lastly I cannot explain in words how very grateful I am for all of the Teach Them Diligently bloggers. If you are planning to attend any of the Teach Them Diligently or Marketplace Conventions be on the lookout for the pink blogger badges and t-shirts. Take a moment to stop and say hello to these lovely ladies. They are so amazing, have wonderful stories to share and have done so much to help spread the word about Teach Them Diligently. They are also great at praying! On my way home from the convention (which is a 2 hour 45 minute drive for me) I was exhausted, in pain, had a very bad headache, nauseous from either the headache or Advil and on top of all that it was dark and raining. I was in tears when I stopped at a gas station, with a 1 1/2 hour drive still ahead. I hopped onto our Facebook group and asked for prayers. Immediately my phone began to ding over and over again as the ladies said they were lifting me up in prayer. I called my wonderful husband who talked to me for about 20 minutes on speaker phone while I drove...which really helped calm me down. And I made it home safely at around 11 pm. My support system of fellow bloggers (many whom I have never met) and local homeschool mom friends really help me get through tough days. I am so very grateful for each and every one of them.
I am looking forward to attending the Teach Them Diligently Convention in Nashville in just 8 days. We are leaving next Tuesday morning because we are planning to have some fun adventures before and after the convention. I have already checked out the Nashville session schedule and highlighted the sessions I am planning to attend...which include "Is Teaching Math Making You and Your Child Cry?," "Homeschooling on a Budget," "The Importance of Art in the Homeschool," "Ballistic Homeschooling: Teaching Boys," "Top Ten Myths About Homeschooling Math," "Learning with Living Books," "Learning My Way: Discovering & Teaching to Your Child's Learning Style," "The Busy Mom's Guide to Daytime: Fitting Your Size 16 Day Into a Size 10," and "Spiders! Spiders! Spiders!."
Well it's time for me to start planning our field trip itinerary as well as get pack for our Nashville adventure! Hope to see you in Nashville!
