Homeschool is back in session for us and if you're following us on our homeschool journey you know what that means lots of FUN fieldtrips. So here are 10 Frugal Fieldtrips for Georgia as well as other states.
1) Marietta Fire Museum - FREE
2) Lowes and Home Depot Kids Clinics - We go to these just about every month. The kids love them and get to build some very cool things. Lowes requires pre-registration. Both are FREE.
3) FREE Smithsonian Museum Day for September 29, 2012 - Get your tickets now!
4) National and State Park activities (most of the time these are FREE except for parking which is $3-$5) - we have been to a few of these and love them especially the guides by the Rangers. National Parks offer FREE days several times a year.
5) Atlanta Childrens Museum FREE 2nd Tuesday of the Month from 1 pm - 7 pm - this is a great place for little ones toddler age - 5 yrs old.
6) Michaels Knack Make and Takes - These range in price sometimes you have to buy the main supply item like T-shirt, bag, wooden item, etc. Sometimes they are 100% FREE.
7) Georgia Racing Hall of Fame (great for BOYS) - Adults $4, Child (7-13) $2, 6 & under FREE
8) Anne Frank Exhibit - FREE
9) American Museum of Papermaking - FREE
10) Federal Reserve Bank Monetary Museum - FREE - Tours are available for Atlanta, Miami and Jacksonville
