This week we have been learning about Earth Day and making some fun crafts. One project we made was coffee filter Earths. They are super easy and look awesome when done.
Materials:
-Coffee Filters
-Rose Art Markers - Blue, Green, Brown
-Water Bottle
Optional:
-Black Paper
-Rose Art Gold Glitter Pens
-Glue Stick
Start with a coffee filter. |
Have the kids color the filter with blue, green and brown markers. |
The nice thing is it doesn't matter how messy they get with the coloring it will still turn out awesome. |
Next spritz the coffee filter with a water bottle. About 3-5 sprays is enough. Then let it dry. |
My kids decided they wanted to put their Earths onto a black sky with stars but you can also just hang the coffee filter up once it dries. |
Making their stars. |
Finished projects. Word of advice its probably better to use a glue stick to glue the Earth to the paper. The white glue showed through. |
