So are you ready for a virtual educational biblical worldview field trip? Then join Noah Justice in these amazing DVD's as he takes you to Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon. We have never been to either of these places and hope that one day we can actually go visit them but in the mean time we can feel like we are actually there and learn lots of valuable information through amazing resources such as these DVDs. Even I learned a few things from these DVDs. I really love that from a Biblical Worldview.
Gwyns review (6 yrs old):
Here are a few things Gwyn said she liked and learned in these DVDs.
Grand Canyon DVD:
Gwyn says she learned that the Grand Canyon was made by water, when a big flood came. The Grand Canyon is out West in Arizona.
Yellowstone DVD:
Gwyn says this one was her favorite. She loved learning about the volcanoes and seeing the buffalo. She learned that highest geyser in the world is in Yellowstone and shoots 300 ft high.
She also loved the bloopers.
Here are some of the things covered in these DVDs:
Episode 1: Explore the Grand Canyon with Noah Justice
- The Grand Canyon was cut in just days, not millions of years.
- Its massive layers show evidence of being laid down in less than a year.
- The Biblical record can be trusted as Earth’s history book.
- The Geologic Column is best explained by the Global Flood.
- Super volcanoes were used to shape the Earth after the Flood.
- The petrified forests in Yellowstone were formed in just a few days.
These DVDs are 30 minutes long and explained in simple and entertaining way. Even my almost 5 yr old son could comprehend the information.
The DVD's also have Study Guides available that go along great with the DVD's and help reinforce what your kids learned. Each study guide contains vocabulary words, fill-in-the blanks, numerical order and discussion questions. These study guides are probably best suited for kids in 2nd grade and up but Gwyn was able to answer some of the fill in the blank questions. But they can be lots of fun for parents. I learned so much from the DVDs and the study guides. And now more then ever I want to hope on a train and head out West.
