Why are these my two favorite months? Well because my beautiful daughter was born in January and my handsome son was born in June. I will never forget the day they were born and am so happy they are a part of our wild and crazy life.
I am so excited to homeschool them this Fall. I feel like I missed out on so much of their childhood because I've worked outside the home since they were born. I cannot wait to be there beside them when they learn to read, solve math problems and recite their months of the year (which actually Gwyn already knows from Pre-K and I'm sad I didn't get to teach them to her).
And another reason June is my favorite month is because my birthday and anniversary are also is also in June. Actually my birthday and anniversary are on the same day. Crazy I know! Now I only get one gift instead of two. I dated my wonderful husband for 6 months, eloped and married him on 19th birthday! We will be married 11 yrs on the 16th and I will be turning the big 30!!!
I know this post isn't totally about homeschooling but I wanted to share with you a little bit about our family.
But to make it homeschool related share with me some great resources you use to teach the months of the year? Also whats your favorite month and why?

@Naomi Thanks for stopping by!
Well, your family is who you're homeschooling, so it counts, right? =)
Happy birthday and anniversary!!
Happy birthday and happy anniversary! :) In our family we have some busy birthday months, too. Plus one of our children was born on our anniversary, which makes celebrating our anniversary a bit more challenging. ;)
Thank you everyone for stopping by and for the Birthday and Anniversary wishes. We had a great week even though our vacation to the beach and Savannah got cancelled.
